DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS
In 1992, Alpha Chi Omega adopted domestic violence awareness as our national philanthropy. This is an issue that affects women all over the world, as well as men and children. The Alpha Chi Omega Beta Xi chapter dedicates hundreds of hours each year to help those who have been effected both on and off campus. Outside of domestic violence awareness, our members are dedicated to volunteering and working with various organizations throughout Utah.

ORGANIZATIONS WE WORK WITH
CAPSA (Citizens Against Physical and Sexual Assault)
CAPSA is a non-profit domestic violence, sexual abuse recovery center serving Cache County and the Bear Lake area. They provide support services for women, men, and children impacted by abuse. All of their services are FREE and confidential SAAVI (Sexual Assault and Anti-Violence Information) SAAVI is a campus-based office providing safe, confidential counseling, advocacy and information to the USU community. When a survivor of domestic violence first comes to SAAVI, they will meet with an advocate and learn the expectations and responsibilities for working with an advocate. The survivor is in control of their healing journey, and thus gets to decide which resources they would like to receive. Once the student decides, the advocate will help the student get connected with each resource. are our local partners.
